Project Results Presented at the 6th CiBB Retreat
Our project was invited to share recent results at the 6th CiBB Retreat – Metabolism, Aging and Disease (MAD), held on January 20–21, 2026, at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Coimbra (Polo III), Subunit 3, in Coimbra, Portugal.
This retreat is an excellent initiative that promotes scientific meetings and the exchange of scientific knowledge among the MAD research groups and the CiBB community. It provides a stimulating environment for interdisciplinary discussion, fostering collaboration and the sharing of ideas across different research areas.
During the event, we presented key findings from our project and engaged in valuable discussions with colleagues working in metabolism, aging, and disease. We are grateful for the invitation and for the opportunity to contribute to such a dynamic and collaborative scientific forum.

Resultados do Projeto Apresentados no 6.º Retiro do CiBB
O nosso projeto foi convidado a apresentar resultados recentes no 6.º Retiro do CiBB – Metabolismo, Envelhecimento e Doença (MAD), que decorreu nos dias 20 e 21 de janeiro de 2026, na Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Coimbra (Polo III), Subunidade 3, em Coimbra, Portugal.
Este retiro constitui uma excelente iniciativa que promove encontros científicos e a partilha de conhecimento entre os grupos de investigação MAD e a comunidade CiBB. O evento proporcionou um ambiente estimulante para a discussão interdisciplinar, fomentando a colaboração e a troca de ideias entre diferentes áreas de investigação.
Durante o encontro, apresentámos resultados-chave do nosso projeto e participámos em discussões científicas enriquecedoras com investigadores das áreas do metabolismo, envelhecimento e doença. Agradecemos o convite e a oportunidade de contribuir para um fórum científico tão dinâmico e colaborativo.
