Daniela Rodrigues participou no Congresso Anual da International Society of Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity (ISBNPA), realizado em Cádiz, Espanha, entre 27 e 30 de maio de 2026. O encontro reuniu investigadores de todo o mundo para discutir os mais recentes avanços nas áreas da atividade física, comportamento sedentário, nutrição e promoção da saúde. Neste congresso, a investigadora apresentou a comunicação oral “Shifts in Device-specific Screen Use, Physical Activity and Play among Young Children in Portugal, 2016–2024”, de sua autoria e com participação de Cristina Padez e Aristides M. Machado-Rodrigues. A apresentação deu a conhecer resultados que analisam a evolução dos comportamentos de utilização de ecrãs, da atividade física e das brincadeiras em crianças portuguesas ao longo dos últimos anos, contribuindo para uma melhor compreensão das mudanças ocorridas na infância num contexto cada vez mais digital.
Além da apresentação científica, Daniela Rodrigues foi convidada a presidir à sessão “Promoting Movement: From Outdoor Play to Active Travel”, realizada no dia 29 de maio. A participação no ISBNPA 2026 reforça o compromisso do projeto ScreenHealth com a produção e disseminação de conhecimento científico que apoie o desenvolvimento de estratégias para uma utilização mais saudável dos ecrãs e para a promoção de estilos de vida ativos desde os primeiros anos de vida.

Daniela Rodrigues participated in the Annual Meeting of the International Society of Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity (ISBNPA), held in Cádiz, Spain, from 27 to 30 May 2026. The conference brought together researchers from around the world to discuss the latest advances in physical activity, sedentary behaviour, nutrition, and health promotion. During the conference, Daniela Rodrigues presented the oral communication “Shifts in Device-specific Screen Use, Physical Activity and Play among Young Children in Portugal, 2016–2024”, co-authored with Cristina Padez and Aristides M. Machado-Rodrigues. The presentation highlighted findings on changes in screen use, physical activity, and play behaviours among Portuguese young children over recent years, contributing to a better understanding of how childhood lifestyles have evolved in an increasingly digital environment.
In addition to presenting her research, Daniela Rodrigues was invited to chair the session “Promoting Movement: From Outdoor Play to Active Travel” on 29 May. This invitation reflects the international recognition of her expertise and contributions to research on physical activity and healthy lifestyles in childhood. Participation in ISBNPA 2026 reinforces the commitment of the ScreenHealth project to generating and disseminating scientific knowledge that supports the development of strategies for healthier screen use and the promotion of active lifestyles from the earliest years of life.
